I love stupid people. For real.

Posted: October 27, 2010 @ 4:45 PM, by Adam.

It's been a while since I actually blogged about anything, besides the updates for the blog software, so I figured I'd give you all a little something to read about. Unfortunately, there hasn't been anything exciting going on in the last few months; well, aside from some random things here and there, but nothing major. Luckily enough for you faithful viewers out there, plenty of stories from earlier this year will be surfacing soon, and they'll be good, I promise.

First, to all of my Facebook friends and my close friends, I'd like to give a public thank you to all of those who gave their condolences to the late Baxter. Baxter will be forever missed (I'm sure quite a few of you are confused, so I will be sure to write about him at a later date). Also, welcoming to the world - Caspian and Pringles. Mr. Waffles and Princess gave birth to two calico kittens, both female, and have been a wonderful little bundle of joy ever since (there is some sarcasm there, but they're good kittens, so hush).

Now onto something a little more worthy of your time - stupid people. I got a very confusing e-mail from this site last night. Allow me to quote:

hi adam i love your stories.. too bad i hear your mean to nice girls.

Is this hate mail? Is it praise mail? Is it just some moron deciding they want some action in the spotlight? I find it quite entertaining actually. It was sent from Steve. Now, I always use psuedonyms to hide the identity of people, so you might be confused as to why I'm using Steve's name. It's actually pretty simple. You see, Steve isn't the real name of the person who e-mailed me. Unless you're Stevie Nix, I highly doubt any mother would name their daughter Steve. How do I know that this person is a female? Well, upon creating a new Yahoo account last night, this person failed to remember a few simple things. First off, Yahoo profiles are simple found by going to http://profiles.yahoo.com/YahooID. Someone's Yahoo e-mail address will have a profile attached to it. On this profile page, it will also tell you when the profile was created.

So at this point I have an idea of who this person is, and all I need to confirm it is an IP address. For those of you who aren't computer savy, think of an IP Address as an internet finger print. Sure, it can be faked and hidden, however stupid people aren't that smart. This would also mean I would have to send the IP Address of the sender in my script, which I didn't do. Shucks. Oh wait. I have a nifty little tool that monitors all the traffic that comes into my website. First this person went to a search engine and typed in my website, because all of the links on this page aren't working yet and couldn't get in. They remember the good old days and start reading stories that they remembered. After reading a few things, they decided to to send the e-mail. The entire history of their surfing of this site is clear as day, even from the page they came from to get here, until they left. Good ol' SBC Global.

I'd love to just name the person and call her out, but I won't. I don't feel like being sued, since this person has threatened me in the past because of material on this website, though there wasn't anything I could get sued on. I really could give a shit on the negative opinions people have about this site, but if you're going to e-mail me from it, at least make it more entertaining than that. Throw in how you want to donkey punch me or give me the Mississippi handbag or something. And don't hide yourself. I'd at least respect you for being honest and not a lying douche.

I'll end this with a list of things I hate: Strippers, Ex's, and the freaky Burger King mascot.
